The 2019-2020 Florida Job Growth Grant Fund Cycle is open. Enterprise Florida, Inc. (EFI) and Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) are currently accepting infrastructure and workforce training project proposals for the $40 Million Florida Job Growth Grant Fund.
Project proposals should be submitted via email to FloridaJobGrowthGrantFund@enterpriseflorida.com
Project proposals will be considered on a rolling basis. Only proposals submitted after July 1, 2019 will be considered for the 2019-2020 Florida Job Growth Grant Fund Cycle.
The Florida Job Growth Grant Fund is an economic development program designed to promote public infrastructure and workforce training across the state. Proposals are reviewed by EFI and DEO and chosen by the Governor to meet the demand for workforce or infrastructure needs in the community to which they are awarded.
In 2019-20, the agency will be able to provide $40 million for projects that focus on rapidly developing a highly-skilled workforce and on infrastructure initiatives that attract businesses, create jobs and promote economic growth.
|Public infrastructure projects can include transportation and utilities needed to support economic development.|
|Workforce training projects will provide Floridians with transferable, sustainable workforce skills applicable to more than a single employer, and for equipment associated with these programs.|
