According to Dun & Bradstreet, there are 91 Spanish companies with 232 branch locations in Florida. These businesses span industries such as retail — including global apparel retailer Zara — infrastructure, construction, financial services and communications.

Florida has Sister-City partnerships with Barcarrota, El Puerto de Santa Maria, Granada, Mataro, Madrid, Murcia, Almonte, Valladolid, Oviedo, Macharaviaya, Ciudadella de Menorca and Figueres.
