2013 Paris Air Show offers global opportunity to Florida companies
Space limited in the Florida Pavilion; trade grants available
ORLANDO, FL (February 13, 2013) – Enterprise Florida is coordinating business participation in the Florida Pavilion at the 50th International Paris Air Show, which is scheduled for June 17-23. Florida-based aviation, aerospace and defense firms are invited to register by contacting:
Booth space in the Pavilion is limited, so, reservations should be made as soon as possible.
Target Sector Trade Grants are available for qualifying companies. The grants are awarded on a reimbursable basis; companies will be reimbursed following their participation in the event. The grant will pay 50 percent of the booth space cost, up to $7,500.
To be held at Paris’ Le Bourget Airport, the Paris Air Show is considered the world’s leading aviation and aerospace trade fair. Last held in 2011, this biannual event attracted more than 350,000 attendees, including 151,500 trade visitors, and 290 official delegations from 82 countries.
“The Paris Air Show offers unprecedented access to the world’s leading aviation and aerospace companies,” said Manny Mencía, senior vice president of International Trade and Development for Enterprise Florida. “Historically, this event has been very fruitful for Florida companies, and we anticipate another successful year.”
Enterprise Florida will host the Florida Pavilion at the tradeshow, and has secured premier location space. The pavilion offers an ideal opportunity for Florida companies to exhibit their products and services to a global audience, and to create immediate new and lucrative partnerships.
