Exhibition space available for world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry
ORLANDO, Fla. (November 3, 2016) – Enterprise Florida, Inc. (EFI) will host the Florida Pavilion at the GSMA’s Mobile World Congress 2017. The exhibit will feature small and mid-sized Florida IT and telecommunication companies that want to market their technology, software and application solutions to an international audience. Mobile World Congress (MWC) will be held in Barcelona, Spain from February 27-March 2, 2017.
“This event is a great opportunity for small and mid-sized IT and telecom exporters to get in front of industry leaders, “ said Manny Mencia, EFI’s Senior Vice President of International Trade and Development. “Shows like this give unmatched access to companies looking to expand sales and build relationships in international markets. The Florida Pavilion provides an excellent showcase for companies in the state to cost-effectively reach new audiences from around the world.”
The MWC is the world’s biggest mobile industry event and combines a large exhibition and an award-winning technology conference with outstanding networking opportunities. The exhibition features more than 2,100 companies displaying the newest technologies in products, software, network infrastructure and the mobile services sector. Well over 100,000 visitors from more than 200 countries are expected to attend, many of them C-suite executives.
Who should exhibit at Mobile World Congress?
EFI is offering business diversification grants to Florida SME manufacturers and high tech companies exhibiting in that market for the first time to help them safeguard against over-reliance on any one market. The Target Sector Trade Grant reimburses 50 percent of the exhibition cost to eligible companies exhibiting within the Florida Pavilion. Interested technology companies should secure their space promptly as space is limited.
