Maitland, Fla. (December 19, 2014) – Viewpost, a financial services company that specializes in electronic invoicing and payments on a secure business-to-business network, will expand its presence in Maitland creating 262 jobs over the next three years and making a capital investment of more than $1.9 million in the region.

Every job has an impact on families. It is thanks to job creators like Viewpost that Florida is on the way to become the world’s number one destination for jobs.”
Viewpost is a financial services software company that specializes in electronic invoicing and payments. The creation of 262 new jobs will be in addition to retaining more than 180 positions currently employed at the company’s Maitland facility.
“I was born and raised in the Orlando area and I’m deeply grateful for the supportive business environment our elected officials and investment community have nurtured. I’m pleased that Viewpost’s success will in turn have a positive impact on the region,” said CEO Max Eliscu. “Our impact is also felt in the greater marketplace, where the inefficiency and waste in how businesses invoice, communicate and pay one another is staggeringly expensive for everyone, and the environment. The Viewpost team has been incredible, exceeding expectations every month to help any size company remove these costly barriers. We’re bringing on more talent to continue developing a holistic solution that meets the needs of our rapidly growing customer base. It’s an exciting time at our company.”
Florida has many advantages to offer financial and professional services companies, including its global connectivity, experienced workforce and favorable business climate. With these factors Florida has gained the third largest finance and insurance cluster in the nation, and most of the nation’s leading financial companies have established large operations in Florida. In addition, Florida is ranked third in the nation for high-tech establishments, and has one of the largest computer systems design and integration industry fields.
Secretary of Commerce and president & CEO of Enterprise Florida Gray Swoope said, “The expansion of Viewpost in Orlando is exciting news for Florida’s financial and professional industry. Florida is home to more than 100,000 financial and professional firms employing more than 850,000 Floridians, and this sector will continue to grow thanks to companies like Viewpost. We appreciate them choosing Florida for their expansion and look forward to their continued success.”
Partners on this project included Orange County, City of Maitland, Duke Energy, Department of Economic Opportunity, CareerSource Florida, and the Orlando Economic Development Commission.
Florida Department of Economic Opportunity Executive Director Jesse Panuccio said, “Companies like Viewpost are contributing daily to Florida’s remarkable economic turnaround and these more than 250 new jobs over the next few years will help the Orlando area continue to grow and thrive. High-tech, high-wage jobs, like those Viewpost will add, are growing in the state thanks to this administration’s focus on pro-growth and business-friendly policies.”
As part of the expansion project, CareerSource Florida has offered Viewpost a performance-based partial reimbursement grant for employee training through the Quick Response Training (QRT) program. QRT grants are structured to be flexible and responsive to the training needs of new or expanding businesses.
