ORLANDO, Fla. (May 22, 2017) – Today, KPMG broke ground on its new 55-acre Learning, Development and Innovation Facility in Orlando. The new facility will help create 80 new jobs in Orlando and KPMG expects to add an additional 250 jobs statewide over the next three years. Currently, KPMG has offices in Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Miami, Tallahassee, and Tampa, and employs nearly 700 Floridians across the state.
Governor Scott said, “I am proud to celebrate the groundbreaking of KPMG’s new facility and the creation of 330 new jobs. KPMG is a global company with an incredible presence in our state and today’s announcement shows how important it is to do all we can to fight for these major jobs wins. We are competing at a global scale, and we will keep working with our economic development partners from across the state to help create new opportunities for our families. I look forward to seeing this new facility and welcoming KPMG employees from across the nation to our great state.”
The new training facility will bring thousands of KPMG employees from across the nation to Florida each year benefiting local airports, hotels and tourist attractions. It is located within the 14-square-mile community of Lake Nona and is expected to be completed in late 2019.
