New development lead tapped for Enterprise Florida’s sports division
TALLAHASSEE, FL (April 18, 2012) – Greg Ungru has joined Enterprise Florida in the position of vice president of development for Enterprise Florida’s Sports Development division, which comprises the Florida Sports Foundation (Florida Sports).
Ungru will develop and implement Florida Sports’ corporate partnership program. To build the program, he will pinpoint prospective partners, raise revenue and identify potential signature events for Florida Sports to own and manage.
Before Enterprise Florida, Ungru was deputy chief of staff for the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. But he spent more than a decade previously in government and public sector roles Ohio and Washington, D.C. as well as Florida.
A native of Harrison, Ohio (near Cincinnati), Ungru earned a degree in history at The Ohio State University in 2000.
