Dates: July 14-20, 2014
Florida Secretary of Commerce and EFI president & CEO Gray Swoope will lead a delegation of more than 70 companies, partners and organizations to the Farnborough Airshow in London. The show is the largest worldwide exhibition featuring the aviation, aerospace and defense sectors. The business development and trade mission provides Florida with a unique opportunity to demonstrate its competitive advantages in aviation and aerospace. The trip will give Secretary Swoope the ability to meet face-to-face with leading CEOs in the aviation and aerospace sectors in one location – something that cannot be done anywhere else in the world. Over two days of meetings, Secretary Swoope and EFI leadership will meet with nearly 40 leading aerospace and aviation companies to recruit new high-wage jobs and foreign direct investment to the state.
In addition to the business development meetings, Enterprise Florida will host a pavilion showcasing 11 Florida companies and organizations marketing their products and services to a top-level international audience. The pavilion allows small and mid-sized Florida companies to cost-effectively exhibit their products at the show.
