Enterprise Florida offers a variety of trade grants through the Florida Export Diversification & Expansion program to help qualified  companies start exporting for the first time, or diversify into new overseas markets.  Companies with a significant international portfolio grow faster, are more profitable, and less susceptible to domestic downturns. Target Sector Trade Show Grants

Enterprise Florida offers grants to help Florida companies grow their export sales through overseas international trade shows. Eligible small and medium-sized manufacturers and professional services providers can apply for a Target Sector Trade Show Grant to help offset trade show booth costs and enable them to exhibit in trade shows that Enterprise Florida participates in, as well as other approved trade shows and exhibitions in target sectors.

  • Target Sector Trade Show Grants provide reimbursable grants for eligible companies in one of Enterprise Florida’s target sectors to participate in a qualified trade show or exhibition anywhere in the world. Two reimbursement options are available for eligible companies.

Option A: Companies with 500 employees or less may qualify for reimbursement of 75% of trade show booth costs up to $7,500.

Option B: Companies with fewer than 100 employees AND participating in events within select target markets (Africa; Asia; Australia / New Zealand; Mexico, or Middle East) may qualify for reimbursement of 100% of trade show booth costs up to $10,000.

Gold Key/Matchmaker Grantslogo-trade-grant-commercial-service

Eligible small and medium-sized manufacturers and professional services providers can apply for a Gold Key/Matchmaker Grant to help them generate or increase export sales overseas. The grant serves as a market development tool for companies that are new-or-infrequent exporters by subsidizing the cost of meeting with pre-screened and pre-qualified buyers, agents, importers, and representatives with an interest in their products or services.  Gold Key Services can be provided by the U.S. Commercial Service, while similar one-on-one business matchmakers can be conducted through select Enterprise Florida international offices or a pre-approved third-party such as an AmCham.

  • Gold Key/Matchmaker Grants reimburse qualified companies 100% of the Participation Fee for Enterprise Florida trade missions, or the full cost of a stand-alone Gold Key/Matchmaker service.  Other options are available. Click here for complete grant terms and conditions.

Export Marketing Planslogo-trade-grant-sbdc-network

Enterprise Florida, in partnership with the Florida SBDC Network and the U.S. Commercial Service, offers qualified Florida manufacturers and services providers the development of a customized Export Marketing Plan to identify overseas growth strategies for the company. Upon completion of the Export Marketing Plan, new-to-export or infrequent exporters can apply for a reimbursable Gold Key/Matchmaker Grant, a Target Sector Trade Show Grant, or participate in an Enterprise Florida overseas trade mission.  Click here to complete the online application.

  • The cost to prepare an Export Marketing Plan is $5,000, but qualifying companies are eligible for a $4,500 grant, making the cost to your company only $500.

“Florida Online Global” — Website Localization Grants

Globalize your website by making it local – with fully customized websites in your target markets. Enterprise Florida has teamed up with IBT Online to bring you the “Florida Online Global” program to help Florida exporters expand their overseas presence quickly and dynamically. Two options give you the flexibility to choose either a Two-Market Expansion or Multi-Market Web Presence.

  • Enterprise Florida offers qualifying companies an $8,000 grant for either option to reduce the costs to your company.

International Registration Grants

Enterprise Florida launched the International Registration Grants program to help small to medium-sized manufacturers offset the costs of obtaining international product registrations, certifications or markings that may be required to do business overseas.  If the cost of compliance with standards in global markets is keeping your company from expanding overseas, then please contact us for further information about how this grant may be able to help your company.  Click here for complete grant terms and conditions.

  • Qualified applicants will be reimbursed 50% of the international registration/certification application fee, up to a maximum of $10,000.
